Artist's Comments

I know, the description is long, but please, take some time and read it, I'll appreciate that.

Let me tell you a story.

The one of you that have known me for a long time already know it, so, forgive me if I'm becoming boring.... must be the age....

Around three years ago there was a boy (or a men even) who was rambling around the net looking for walpapers, for a case he found a site called deviantART, he liked what he found in there, so many wondeful images for his desktop.. yay!

The he decided to look around and he went into the photography gallery, once again he was astonished of what he saw... he quickly became addicted, but, as he had never used a camera he was mainly a beholder.

One day he saw a shot that impressed him so much that he decided he had to try to take something similar, immediatly he reached the author's gallery and he literally falled in love with the shots he found there.

From then he has changed two cameras, bought a tripod and a few lenses, has discovered the equally amazing even if totally different feelings of digital and traditional photography.

Nowadays he consider himself a fairly good photographer and he still watch to that gallery with a sort of astonishing sense of wonder.

It took me three years to interpret that shot.

Today I'm submitting that to you because my shots, more than everything, are my way to get closer to you and to tell you my story.

The shot that inspired this (and me) is:
"aestesia"

This shot is dedicated to Ailine Liefeld aka `angelcurls.

If you don't know her go and watch her gallery you won't be disappointed.

On this day of celebrating friendship I think this photo along with the story is fitting. The Beginning by =pecchio goes back a long way and is an example of deviantART's effect on artists, in other words, our effect on each other. The way that we inspire each other and then push ourselves further and further to get better in our craft is quite amazing really. The day we sign up for an account in deviantART.com is always a beginning, and for what...is up to you to decide. (Suggested by ~kingkool6 and Featured by `suzi9mm)

you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth."
